Idle air control valve connector help

I was changing my iacv which should have been a easy job but the connector disintegrated when I pulled it off and I lost track of which way was what any tell tell signs of how this plugs in?

On one side of the connector there is a wide plastic piece and the other side there is a single thin piece and you HAD a spring type clip that held it in the IAC. That broken clip will line up with the tab that the clip would grab on to. Show pics of the female IAC cavity.

Your second picture shows the side with the broken-off clip from your plug. In your first picture you can see the tab on the IAC which is aiming down towards the front of your truck. Make a Sharpie mark on the broken clip part of your plug and orient it towards the tab on the IAC.
