I'm pretty sure that shirt wouldn't fly when I got married. My Mom would have ripped my arm off and knocked me into left field.

Low beam is impressive in the pictures, I bet in person it is quite effective. Hard to judge light output pictures, but fill and width is very good and distance isn't bad at all.

Took me quite a few hours of here n there "spare time" reading, at work and during home time... Fri into Sat.. 1:25am Sat to be exact.

Helluva thread... yup Shovelbill, lotta off topic meanderings, but who the heck am I to complain about your thread, right?
All of you deserve a lot of credit. Very good thread, if people actually take the time to work for the knowledge contained within.

thanks Al......and your right about that, there's no "recipe card" on one page.....it's an amalgamation of stuff that can get you going in the right direction.....most of it is lighting related somehow.

and i don't think i know how to make a concise thread on any topic......LOL

glad you took the time...there's some very good guys that chose to join in......and stick to it......funny thing is i'm not done yet. LMAO.

over the next few days i'll be getting night videos on dead dark rural backroad in upstate NY........THIS is what i'm really looking forward to....as i'm probably going to be living up here within the next year.
