don't forget that these are a potential opotion for our trucks as well.....not sure if it's a straight bolt on though. the newer lens buckets are available in glass and the low beams with a bulb shield as well. i'd bet it would make aiming the lamps a little more accurate too.

i knew about these from when i was going to upgrade my 1990 K/5.....was relatively new product...i don't think they were availabe at the time i got my truck, around in 2009

i put the 88-89 duals on the 93 and want to upgrade to those. need the money first.

cool deal

did you run into and mounting bracket issues...holes, thread and the like? i was considering these when i wanted to upgrade my '90, but the rot was too extensive and i abandoned the whole thing when my driver's seat went through the floor. that's what got me on the quest for a new truck. i was originally searching for a short bed '87, but my bro found this sweet '98 first...........now here we are.

i was under the impression that the radiator support assembly was different after 1990......i just searched part numbers, but confused the **** out of myself.....par for the course....LOL

EDIT: i just went back and see they list the same number for all years....they just broke it into 3 separate year groupings......sweet.

no issue at all on mounting. only had the change pigtails.
52.00 for 1 headlight is crazy.

here's some info:
Stock Sealed Beam H4703 55w lowbeam, H4701 65w highbeam are DOT approved, GM used in 88-89, 90-91 Blazers/Suburbans, 98-03 Firebirds and a few others. The small size (92mmx150mm), marginal optics of DOT spec, make these somewhat poor. Factory wiring is ran through headlight switch, column dimmer, and smaller 16ga wire. Upgrade powers lights with relays, 10ga wire, increasing output greatly, a must if upgrading to more powerful lights, higher wattage runs too great of resistance.
