Well my mirrors came today and I got them installed! They were a little more of a pain to install than i hoped but I got it all figured out in the end. Nothing was complicated just bolts that were difficult to get to and etc. It was all pretty brainless just took some fancy wrench work and etc.

I was a little nervous that they would look odd on my non-lifted (aka "non-beef") truck but I think they look really nice. The mirrors were well constructed and felt very hefty and solid when I un boxed them. I would have liked the top (longer) stud to be a little longer because it took some work to get the nut to even grab the threads but I got it eventually... after dropping the nut through the door panel and forcing myself to take the entire panel off... on both sides lol It's good I've taken those off plenty of times.

I'll try to wash the truck up next week sometime and post up some pics. (now I need a new sig dang it! lol)

I would love to see some pics, I debated the same thing, I am 'non-beef' as well but need better mirrors. I am still debating between these and the flip-up Dodge mirror conversion...

Well I spent this morning washing and waxing my truck with the new mirrors. I towed my horse trailer about 250 miles with them the day after I installed them and my front clip and the mirrors were COVERED with bugs. lol. I got it all cleaned up and ready to get buggy again when I leave on vacation with my 30' travel trailer later this week... that trip will be closer to 1000 miles round trip though. Needless to say these mirrors are being put to good use :)

Overall I am happy with the mirrors. As far as looks go I don't think that they are a perfect match to the theme of my truck but I think they look good and I think that they will grow on me more and more. I've already gotten several comments about how good they look from some friends.

Function: When I took them out of the box I thought that they felt very hefty and well built and I still think that. I got the power uppers with the manual lowers. The upper glass has a little more vibration or "road jiggle" than I would like but it's not unbearable. The bottom convex portion doesn't do it as much. I don't know if it's because it's a smaller piece of glass and therefore doesn't resonate as bad or if the power mechanism on the top one doesn't hold the mirror as firm as the manual mechanism does. They feel very solid when folding and when sliding in and out. I really don't have anything to complain about considering they are an aftermarket eBay product and the price that I paid for the set. Overall I would recommend them.

They do look good, not as goofy as I expected they would on a stock-ish truck.

I am glad you commented on the 'glass jiggle' as it would probably not be good for me as the Cummins can make things rattle more.

Thanks for the pics!

Well I'm glad that you don't think that they look goofy! I don't know if the cummins would make it worse or not. They don't seem to be affected much by my subwoofer... You might get less vibrations with the fully manual ones. Maybe someone with the manual mirrors can chime in on the vibrations.

My stock mirrors are all over the place, So if they do jiggle i'm not too worried. I just ordered a set of the power+ signal Mirrors, hoping they arrive good, where is this signal wire that everyone is tapping into? Also a similar question, my power mirrors havnet been working since i got the truck, the other day i found a broken wire in the door, fixed it up and still nothing, i have power to the switch, theres a little thing in heatshrink before or after the switch, looks like a little resistor (took off the heatshrink) and i'm not getting any power past that. anyone know what it is and can i just take it out?

Mine jiggle too, idle, or road speed. Glad I'm not the only one, I commented on it a while back though. lol.

borahshadow, they look good on your GMC. It is very well kept. Hezsus, I think your truck will look good with them.
