Hello everybody. Let me introduce myself. Ma name is Alex, I live in Russia, Moscow. My passion is big vehicles and music.

In Russia we have alot of different cars here from all over the world. American vehicles are quite popular here...and it's expensive to own.
I love american cars/trucks, I find them better than european or japaneese cars. They are big, strong, powerful and unique.

So
I have black Chevrolet Tahoe 97 model year, full-size 4 doors truck, with 5.7 Vortec, 4L60E transmission, NP-243 transfer case and 3.42 gear ratio.
Using winter Bridgestone blizzak tyres 255/70 and for summer Bridgestone 265/65, black MKW R17" rims. Old 16" rims resting in garage :) Want to paint them black too...

Now I would like to say some words about prices here, I think it would be intresting for you :)

1.I bought this car in October 2015, for 350 000 roubles = $ 5000.
2. Full fuel tank costs me almost $60 (it's aprox 4000 roubles).
3. Every year we pay here vehicle insurance. For me it costs $250 (18000-20000 roubles). It depends of driving experience. I got my driving license since 2015, so it's expensive for me, will go cheaper in next few years. Payed every year.
4. Car tax. It's the most stupidest tax in my country, it depends on horse powers. Okay, for 258 h/p I pay $550 (36000-40000 roubles). You must pay this every year.

Service and parts is quite expensive too though, because we have no manufactures of parts here and have to order everything from ebay. Of course we have some kind of services, providing parts for better prices. Everything is two times more expensive than 2-3 years ago.

Previous owner of this car did many good things such as transmission rebuilding, bought new engine from The USA, front and rear axles rebuilding.
Condition of the vehicles is quite good for a 18 years old car ;)
Of course need to paint something, fix something, wash something and so on but it still works fine without serious problems.

Ask me everything you want, I would be glad to answer.
P.S.: sorry for my bad english

Thanks alot for a warm meet & greet, I'm happy to have much responses from all of you :)

I'd **** brick if we had a car tax based on horsepower here. What the hell lol.
As in your other thread, :welcome:

Also, that tax has a progressive system. Each 50 horse power tax is getting higher for 1 hp. For example for 200-250 horse power you pay $1-1.5 for 1hp and $200-250 total per year. For 250-300hp it goes with $2-2.5 for 1hp and $500 total. That's crap. By the way, the cost of fuel consists of tax too, it's 2-3 roubles per litre, so we paying it twice lol

Welcome from Wisconsin. Nice truck!

I didn't have any of these vehicles before. It's my first American vehicle and it's my FIRST car at all. Just got driving license

Actually your English is better than expected good. Welcome, nice truck!

Thank you!
