Question for those who have incorporated the 1999-2000 escalade/denali into their OBS trucks - how easy is it to power/integrate the factory console sub with an aftermarket head unit, in my case an Alpine? Thanks for the help on this. Mark

Installed center console in my OBSRC out of a Ford Expedition and modified it to hold DD Head Unit. Still have finishing touches to complete, paint and some wiring for some LED lights.

OK, I couldn't figure out how to search for this, so I'll ask. The center console in my '99 Suburban, where the CD storage area is at the very front.. The cover for that doesn't seem to attach anywhere, and I'm guessing the attachment points in the console have broken off. I just removed the cover so it's not rattling around but I was curious if anyone has repurposed this area to do something else. It's not terrible with the cover removed, but just thinking of what else it could be for, or if anyone has figured out a way to fix this issue..

Did you have to modify the console to fit against the dash?

I think burbs and Blazers got them. We have had a couple with the trucks my uncle has parted out

Damn I want one now. I never knew such a thing existed. It makes sense now chronologically since the very next year ('95) all the interior got the dip.
