I say go for it. You'll probably need a couple of the single DIN radio bezels also.

Here is another pic of the install guys....I will do a full write up when I get done. I got the radio wired up today and put it with the insert in the dash....works great so far.

What did you use to fill in the cubby, of the stock radio?

I'm adding a bunch of lights and that's my ideal spot to put the switches in. But trying to figure out what to use to keep it Clean and neat after my recent restore.

Hello Guys and Gals,

Glenn from Driven Nashville here. Just wanted to drop in and say thank y'all very much for the interest and good things you've had to say about our custom dash piece.
It was truly an honor to give back to a fellow Chevy lover on the Search and Restore build.
My daily driver is my late grandfather's 96 extended cab that i rode home with him in the day he picked it up new from the dealership.

To touch on a couple of questions and comments:
No, those are the stock air vents and are not smaller. They are relocated to allow room for the receiver opening.
Little trimming and massaging was needed for everything to line up.
Yes, the factory cup holder tray functions and does not hit the piece.

With all of the interest that we have been receiving we are considering putting out a group buy on 10 dash pieces at a deeply discounted price to kick off the new year. PM me or message us through our Facebook page if you are interested. www.facebook.com/drivennash
