There is someone that comes to mind... Over on TheTruckStop.Us (really good 6.2/6.5 resource, lotta -400 owners) there is a member there who makes some of the best cables I've ever seen. His own personal site is: http://ptwiringsolutions.com/PRODUCTS.html Guy's name is Bruce, I've been contemplating PM'ing him on TTS and asking him if I sent him the dimensions of cables on my 454, he'd make them. I'm thinking he would since he is has the all the equipment and supplies in bulk, just needs dimensions.

You aren't going to want wire and connectors from an electrician, if you're talking about guys that work with building wiring. Even if it's copper, and not aluminum, it'll likely be fewer large conductors, not many many small ones. I did that once, a long time ago......bought wire and connectors from an electrical supply. My battery cable was not flexible at all.

I knew it changed up a bit over the years.

When I finally get around to doing this to my k1500 I will be using one of his kits.

So there is a difference between wires? What about a guy who wrenches on big rigs?

Last contact was almost a month ago and apparently there are some Family health problems.
