Get with Whipple and have them email you the parts list for your supercharger. I was able to crossreference the idler pulleys on mine and found them at the local auto parts store.

Glad to hear you don't need a rebuild!!!!

Yeah, I would've done that, but the speed shop looked at the number on the bearing, so they're just going to punch it out and then put the new one in.

Also, they noticed that the aluminum spacer that fits on the backside of the pulley, and is supposed to go through the bearing only goes about halfway through, rather than all the way, so it's not supporting that outer part of the bearing. So when I tighten the belt on it, it's putting awkward force on the bearings......probably why it failed.

He's going to see if he can come up with a solution. If not, I'll just get a new spacer made by a machine shop that will have a longer supporting part for the bearing.

Might as well post these here. Shots I took today for the calendar.

Also, it has a 5-lug 14-bolt sf axle sitting in the back from a 454 SS. The guy said it was a '93, so the gears are probably 4.11's. I might leave them for a while if they're good, otherwise, they're going to be 3.73's. Pics of the axle and cleaning process coming soon. In the mean time.......

Thanks gents.

Matt - I had the W/T bumper primed, but then I decided to make sure it was right, so I busted out the random orbital and sanded it smooth. Most of it is still primered, but some spots are bare metal again. Getting some filler for some tiny dings in it, then going to block sand it before I prime it again. Then it should be ready for paint. I also can't wait to put on my Esky roof rack.

Dave - I've thought about colormatching it, doing a solid grille without it, or just leaving it. I kind of like the way it breaks up the rest of the truck, at least for now. Maybe I'll change my mind, but it's the only emblem left on the outside of the truck.

So after the bumper gets painted and I make my fog light brackets, I have some more projects coming up. This thread will be rolling a lot quicker in the next few weeks. Mainly is a Denali Console that I bought. Guy told me it wasn't broken at all. He lied. But it's good enough that I can fix it and make it very nice. Also came with the Bose sub, so I'll be wiring that. Plus, shipping that thing across the country cost more than it would be worth to send it back for a refund. The part I'm really PISSED about is the rear cupholder tray is missing. I was guessing it would be, but when he said nothing was broken, I thought it would be there. Probably going to see if I can make my own and have it look like original.
