Is there any certain fabric you'd recommend? I havent decided if I wanna go with vinyl or not, since the rest of my truck is staying fabric (headliner, OHC, etc).

Any automotive upholstery shop, or supply shop will have just about any type of fabric you'd desire. Avoid anything with cotton. It won't last.
As far as vinyls go, the only limit is your imagination. I have access to several various vinyls that come in animal prints. Ostrich, Gator, Python, Zebra, etc. all in multiple color variations. If I didn't tell you they were vinyl, you'd never know. When I use this stuff, (or any other vinyl) I'll take some scrap cuttings of real leather, & put them in a 'Glad' vegie bag. (The ones with the holes) & attach that to the under side of the seat so that the interior has that nice leather smell!
I like the looks of the perforated style vinyl for D/P's & H/L's. myself.

Thanks! The truck has manual D/P's right now. The ones that are in the pic. But I've done more than several of the style that you have.

If I did them, I would get the perforated! But I have always been a fabric guy. My fiance loves leather/vinyl though. I also thought about getting a set of heaters installed into them when I got the seats done as well, but we are talking big money haha

How much would you charge for a pair of buckets and console to be redone? Just wondering for a ballpark estimate of what I should expect?

Those seats in my truck had a bit of a redesign, which required a different method of covering them than stock. I had to sew the grey & the red separately, then stitch them together, lining the pattern up. It's off slightly at the driver side outside edge where the two colors come together, separated by the dk. grey piping. I wanted the seat colors to be separate all the way around the sides. The factory style is sewn up a bit different. It was a lot of work for an effect that most wouldn't even realize that it's been modded.
With the time spent on the redesigning, rebuilding of all the electric motors & switches, plus the console recover (it's wrapped, not dyed) I have about 40 hours into the whole job. The console took 12 hours alone.
Without the redesign, & the console covering, you'd be in the 20-24 hour range.
Shop rate is $65.00/hr. $50.00/hr. for car club & forum members. Plus materials.

AL i think you covered everything i was thinking and trying to say. as for material i know we have a supplier thats only a few miles away from our shop. i agree with al as well most of the seats we do we redesign to get rid of the factory flaws such as binding materials or weak spots etc. i havent gotten into sewing yet im more of the cut material make designs and patterns do woodwork and custom fab work etc. my boss does all the sewing.

:suicide: Thats more than I paid for my whole truck... haha But it is freaking nice. I wouldnt be doing anything that fancy in mine. My seats are in really good condition, foam and fabric are almost like new. I just want them black. The rest of the interior I can handle myself (dash, plastics, carpet) but the seats/console is going to be what gets me in over my head. I thought about just finding a set of black NBS seats or something similar to just swap in.

The only thing I have in my seats is like a lumbar support air thing. Everything else is manual. Buckets with center console.
