So, while I'm happy for the most part with the truck I have, I really want a CC. Mainly because of my kid and all the $hit I normally carry around for work; it doesn't leave a lot of room in the cab. I just saw this and it's the color I want (surprise), 4x4, and has incredibly low miles. The only thing telling me not to go look at it is the $$$ I've poured into the one I've got. Transmission, complete front end rebuild, paint, numerous mod's, wheels, etc, etc.... I know I would have to do this again eventually, but not for a while based on the low mileage.

Here's my tentative plan in the next year or so:

1. Keep what I've got and possibly buy what I've always wanted, a Grand National.
2. Getting a '14 or '15 GMC Sierra
3. Getting a 400 CC and hold off on both the GN and new truck for a while.

I want your guys honest opinion. If I go with #2 or #3 the truck I've got is going to go.

Edit: It's a '00

If my truck had no sentimental value (my grandpa's truck as you know) and if it wasn't my first vehicle I have ever owned (In other words, If it was basically just another truck) I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade to something if I really wanted it. I say go for it unless you have the same deal goin on... So, long story short, #3!!!

whats up josh. yea man I took a look at that listing. do you live near the dealer? 8999 is a little steep. not bad from a dealer but 3 day money back. lol. The truck looks great except the inside of the bed. the whole inside looks super clean and unmolested. needs a wheel change haha. If you live near the stealer ship I would say go piss with them and get that price down in the 7's but thats just me. looked like it had 75 psi of oil pressure at 120 temp. wonder why the bed is so rought but yet the inside looked good. well at any rate I have a huge hard-on for CCSB's so If I was in the market for a CCSB that would most certainly be on my watch list.

on another note. In another thread you said painted bumpers where the best looking mod. well thats because you truck is white. I LOVE that diesel bumper in white!! in fact your whole ECSB is just gorgeous I would love to see what you would do to a CCSB I would have even more competition. :hmm: maybe you shouldn't go get it lol haha jk

in addition to what I said above go get the CCSB and strip all the goodies off your truck that you can bumper flares grille tail gate hell bed haha. keep all the stuff you got money in that you can get off and sell the ECSB privately. that is what I would do in your shoes. Think what would that CCSB look like with your grille lights and bumers plus flares. so much sexy

Thank you for the advice and the compliments. My guess on the bed is that it never had a bed liner in it, and the paint around the peeling looks like it wasn't used as a "truck". Most likely it was the sun that peeled the paint. It's a one owner that's been in Tempe it's whole life. I'm about 90 minutes from the dealer. I do think the price is steep, and I was thinking along the lines of $7500. It have less than 80k on it, which we all know is super low for these trucks (even though this one is only 13 years old).

And I do love me some colormatched white bumpers!

I'd like to see what you can do with #3. That is a SOLID base to build on.

That's what I was thinking. Going to talk to the wife tomorrow and see about going up to at least look at it.

That's what I'm running through my head right now. Just out of curiosity, what do ya think I could get out of mine? I was thinking somewhere around $4,500-$5k???
