Since your Burb is 2500 and K series, maybe it's up higher than mine. My neighbor and I did the job; took us like 5 hours because we had to siphon 25 gallons of gas outta the tank, and neither of us had a transmission jack. So we put the Burb on jackstands under the axle tubes, and used two floor jacks to get the tank down and back up.Got the tank out. I'm kinda mad that everywhere I looked made it sound like it was gonna be crazy hard, which gave me tons of trepidation. So I put this off for months. Well, it took me all of an hour to remove the tank, which included looking for tools and watching YouTube. That was honestly far easier than I was prepared for.
Yeah, that was mildly irritating. But didn't take more than 15 minutes once I found my good needle nose pliersDigging the broken plastic bits out of the lines is the real fun part
You're probably right. Hardest part was honestly the skid plate over the tank. And only cause I dropped it on my face.Since your Burb is 2500 and K series, maybe it's up higher than mine. For the lines? I had the tool, but it didn't wanna work. So I just gently worked it with the pliers until I had sprung the retaining clips. Wasn't hard. Just took a few minutesI'm guessing you didn't have the correct tool, it makes it easy peasy.
Deadline has been shifted by 2 days to Monday. But I'm thinking I can have her fired up tomorrow night, drive her throughout the weekend, then haul for Idaho Monday morning. So deadline is Saturday, then a long shakedown drive?
