Also got a better steering wheel on and swapped license plates to LED as well.

went on a test drive, and carrier bearing needs swapped when I put the bracket on. So while doing that I guess I’ll get new u joint on there as well

Did the air bag steering wheel direct fit on to the non air bag column? I need to replace my non air bag wheel with one that isn’t chewed up

Yes sir as long as you swap the entire wheel over.

I have 50 miles under the test drive currently. She drives fine except for the steering is sloppy...the vent valve is stuck on the floor securing for the air...I need weather seals for the driver door...oh and new tires. Once you get over 50 it’s like riding down the road in a washing machine.

What did you do with the air bag? Just leave it in disconnected?

Yes sir I just unplugged the wire on the air bag it self and snapped the assembly into the wheel. Hardest part for me was getting the horn wire to stay in, due to the old plastic being warped

Well figured I’d be replacing carrier bearing sooner than later. Guess I’m buying one on payday

So I was bored Yesterday so I rewired the door speakers. My factory radio was shot. Went and got a cheap pioneer. Not too shabby. I’m really digging the GMC later model grille and have really thought of a dual wheel conversion lately. My bed is demolished, but man are they expensive! You can get a brand new flat bed for some of these prices!

So my trans mount was shot, replaced it yesterday. Shifts much better now. Tie rods hopefully today.
