Heh, yep. And I wasn't even goosin' on it when this all happened. Had just gotten to our camping spot 15 minutes prior.

Current update:

Rear tires spin (truck in air) while in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th. No spin in Reverse.
Assuming transmission has failed at this point. Doubt I will get a warrantied rebuild, considering the shape its in.

Of course I find an NV4500 a couple hours away from me, but no phone # or email on the ad listing. ugh.

Going to swap parts over to the green rig for time being.

Yeah, hard to let it go. He doesn't even want it hanging around the house, wants to charge me $100 a month to keep it in the shop and it has to be out by September, for the boat to go back in. heh.

There is a lot of work to be done. Would need to bring it right down to the frame. The entire body is shot, most of the drivetrain is too. (Only thing good is the transfer case)

Transmission still shifts but bellhousing is blown apart, exposing flywheel etc

I know. but like I said in your other thread, I understand the sentimental value and if I ever total my truck, I'm not giving it away. I'll work on rebuilding it.
