99-07 center console in a 93

So I've picked up an 03 Suburban center console, the one that stretches all the way into the dash. I was just wondering if anyone has done any custom work molding one of these into a 88-94 dash. I can handle the modifications myself, but I was hoping to get some inside tips from someone who's already done since unexpected problems always come in this kind of things and I would love to avoid any major issues.

The only problem is the 88-94 dash is square and the new dash is round. If you can block it to make it square I think it will make the over all project a lot more like it goes in the truck
