Just pull a headlight out and look at the wires for the bulbs and you'll know witch wire is high beam and witch is low beam. High triggers relay, and lows are what the relay will power then positive and ground.

Trust me I did that. I am pretty sure my relay was just bad. Ive had it for a while and just figured I would try the Hi4 mod.

How hard would it be to combine these
headlights: http://www.ebay.com/itm/280861498971?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Hi Beam Headlight Relay: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=96
HID's: http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/Chevy-C1500-HID-Kits/
if it is possible at all? Does anyone have a writeup or know someone who did this?

If you are going to go with HID's, i would strongly recommend finding a set of headlight housings with the "Glare Shields" on the low beam sides of the housings. This will greatly help reduce the glare for oncoming drivers at night. You can get HID's quite a bit cheaper then the ones that you linked, you may want to check out DDM tuning or eBay for HID's. In all reality, most HID kits come out of the same doors over seas and the retailers here in the states just set higher or lower prices then there competitors. The 4-High kit from LMC truck is an import and not made in the usa. Hope this helps a bit buddy!

Before you order HID's, you may want to take a read through this article: http://www.gmt400.com/forum/showthread.php?9338-How-To-Install-HID-s-amp-HID-Lighting-Explained

Contact Baron (MeanGreen) and he will give you the rundown of his harness and how you should hook everything up with the HID's

Edit: Baron clearly beat me to it haha

I've read that before. What is involved in making this work? I mean, obviously the hid's and the 4 hi thing but what do I need to do to get this working?

Okay I'll tell you what I would recommend;

1. Upgrade your headlight harness BEFORE installing HID's. The main reason that I generally recommend to upgrade before installing HID's, is because when you install the HID's you will know that your harness is up to the task and if you where to have any issues with the HID's it is MUCH easier to diagnose when you KNOW the headlight harness is providing the HID's with the full 13.8V+ they need to run trouble free without any flickering or mis fire issues.

2. As I'm sure you know, HID's have a 3-8 second warm up time; during which they emit very little light. So a 4-High is a MUST. With the 4-High feature, your low beams will ALWAYS be on after you turn your headlights on initially. So there will be NO period of when you have little to no light in front you.

3.Your going to need a set of 9005 (Highs) and 9006 (lows) HID kits. Or one or the other if you just want to upgrade just your low beams or just the high beams.

4. Headlight Housings: You can run HID's in your stock headlight housings, although with that being said; I recommend getting a set of headlight housings WITH glare shields in the low beams, this will GREATLY help reduce glare for oncoming drivers at night. Your stock headlight housings will produce less glare, then a set of aftermarket headlight housings with OUT glare shields.

Anyways, that is the general basic run down on getting your truck set up with HID's!
