1994 C1500 2WD, 210k on it, and I put the Rough Country 4 inch kit on it (231N2, the 2WD spindle kit). Wanted to flag something for anyone about to order one, because the information out there has changed and a lot of what is still floating around is wrong. Short version: my factory 15 inch...

    Trailmaster C44 steering knuckle

Probably a dumb question, but… I am trying to figure out how to loosen/tighten the castle but on the upper ball joint stud. There is next to zero clearance for a wrench in the steering knuckle. I don’t have a pic at the moment but will try to get one in AM. The trick is a 93 k3500 the...

I put it right side up and got the BDS 6 inch end link kit and they aren’t even close to fitting. Can anyone help? What end...

    Lift kit for a 98 k2500 questions

I posted earlier asking about piecing together a lift kit for a 1998 Chevrolet K2500 with the 8 lug hubs. I was thinking about piecing it together because I had 0 findings of lift kits for this year and it being an 8 lug. This was the ONLY one I found for a 98, k2500, 8 lug...

    1992 K2500 Lift questions

I am getting my grandpa's old 1992 ext cab long bed k2500, with the 350 SBC, it is a non-heavy duty model (only 6 lugs) and I'm having trouble finding lift kits for it. I'm learning as I go so I don't know a lot, but the few lifts I have been able to find happen not to be compatible with a...

4 inch lift kit for my 1998 duelly truck

Let me elaborate, I just bought a 1998 Chevy crew cab long bed 4x4, well it used to be a dually and the previous owner left the dually axle and the dually leaf springs, I might sound dumb but if I’m not mistaken the dually trucks had bigger or at least different style leaf springs then the other...

What lift kit with Bilstein 5100s? (1998 K1500)

Hey everyone! I've settled on Bilstein 5100s for my '98 K1500. I'm curious as to what lift kit will work well with them. I've heard Rough Country may or may not have issues as far as compatibility goes, but I'm not sure if that is true. I've also looked at Tuff Country and a few other companies...

    Installing 3 Inch Diff Drop

I recently took my Tahoe to an alignment shop and I was told it was lifted in correctly. I do have my keys cranked quite a bit to clear my wheels, and I have bigger CVs to handle the angle and forged RC 2-3 inch upper control arms (only works on 2-3 inch lift kits), but my lowers and tie rods...
