    There are all sorts of additives that clame to clean it out but the only thing i have seen that works is tranny fluid. You just gotta make sure that it all is flushed out good before running it. I have never done it but i know some people here have so maybe one of them will chime in to give up...

    Swapping the PCM for the 411 PCM. The 411 has better setup and more tuneability. The 411 PCM came in certian vehicles and from what i seen it is a fairly easy mod given what is being swapped out. I am sure someone else chime in with more info and i know some members here have done this.

    Clutch issues, I'm stumped.

    Sounds like Slave cylynder to me as well. Could also be master cylinder, for me it was both. Master seized up on me somehow and the slave blew up a week later. But i did learn that the truck shifts fine without the clutch.

    running hot...

    It is a centrifical clutch set up i believe. The spinning of the motor will engage it. when the motor is off it should spinn freely.

    I prefer the good o'le green antifreeze. I have heard too many stories about the dexcool destroying parts. As long as you have all the old flushed out you can put whatever you want in there.
