96 tahoe dome lights not working
I had similar issues on my 99 burb with domes not working and I found a couple connectors behind the drivers side kick panel and connector for the domes sits on the floor and was green with corrosion. So I cut out the bad and put the harness back together with blue butt connectors and never had...- bill9799

ext. cab window latch, vibrating gas gauge needle, squeaky engine
I'm going fuel gauge issues currently with my 98. It's had the vibrating need from about 1/2 tank and up but the last couple of weeks it jumps to different levels kind of like a twitch until you put it in gear then stays at one level. Damn thing showed half a tank the other day and it took 23...- bill9799

headlight bulbs from the black market
I myself had tried many options including blinding hid's. Was running aftermarket (garbage) look a like housing where the beam scatters after 20-30 feet thank god I work for a collision center for the dealers and picked up oem lights for 200. And with the 4hi mod and Sylvania Xtra vision bulbs...- bill9799

First Magnaflow, Now Flowmaster and...
Mine is the same way. I have 3in centered into a magnaflow with dual 2.5 out . Nice tone around 2200 but was hoping for a little louder without an obnoxious blat -
What year transmissions can I use?
Ive kinda got the same question. I have a rebuilt 4l60e in my 97 2wd with a 4.3. I bought a 99 2wd with the 5.7 both full size extended cab but havent had any luck finding out if they are the same transmission. Any info would be greatly appreciated.- bill9799
