    They are only about 5 years put of production. I'm holding out for new. This is apparently a common problem and hard to tell if they are cracked when they are in such bad cosmetics shape.

    I am trying to find an alternator/PS pump bracket for a 94 350TBI GM Part# 10233233. I have searched pretty well and have only come across a few rough examples on eBay. The left(pass) Alternator ear cracked off on mine.

    I still have the original knock sensor, I do however have a replacement but after checking it with the scan tool it is working ~properly~. I will be replacing it and the head temp sender when time allows.

    Also to add, when the truck is at warm idle it doesn't move with your foot off the brake. I think the idle is too low and never knew it because it always idled high and rough because of a bad pick-up coil.

    No, the alternator makes output at a little under 600. I will check what called idle is, if it's low I'll try to find someone to program the prom.

    That is not an option. I have a very nice and expensive 400A AutoTech Alternator. It's never been an issue until now and I think the truck idles too low anyway. It should be at the 600-700 range warm.

    I think the scan tool is unrelated. I do not have a spark tester. I did not have the assistant of my wife so I can't see if I had Injectors firing. It did not start with starting fluid. It built 80psi of oil pressure.
