    Chirp from new power steering pump??

    ‘97 5.7l. So I put a new GM Genuine power steering pump in, jacked it up, bled it out, turned the wheel probably 30 times each way. Fired it up let it run with the cap off, but kept having this weird chirp coming from the pump itself, doesn’t increase with rpm. Figured it was Time for a new belt...

    Starts when it sits, rough start when it’s warm 97 5.7

    Truck fires right up when you let the fuel pump run, then start… let it warm up, turn it off and try to start it right back up and it doesn’t wanna hear it unless you give it throttle. Has the brand new spider injection conversion. Plugs, wires, all brand new. Distributor was brand new last summer.
