    Rubber the right way replied and said I purchased the K2500/K3500 versions. I'm still feeling like those wouldn't line up well on a K2500 either but maybe it will.

    What is the best fitting high quality replacement side mirrors? I have powered mirrors. I think I want to stay stock on my 97 k1500. Unless there's some really good suggestions.

    First picture I layed the two on top of each other. Second picture I tried to show the difference in material thickness. The Top one is Cokeman95's. The last pictures are the new fitment from Cokeman. Much much better and much appreciated! Fast shipping! It arrived in about 2 days USPS...

    Interesting... I've replaced my dash lights with auxito LED blue bulbs and they definitely dim. I'll grant that it's not the dimming range like an incandescent. But it's clear to me at night that it's dimming at least somewhat.

    Oh great you are making these still. I tried the rubber the right way ones and they don't fit the best. Thought you weren't around anymore. I ordered a set on etsy. Here's pictures of the fitment from the rubber the right way set. I have a 97 K1500 Z71.

    I'm already making plans to install the cooler upgrade. B&M 70272. Seems worthwhile especially in the climate my truck will be in mostly. I'm pretty sure my current cooler is stock.

    I didn't do the install, it was there when I bought the truck. The gauge is mounted on the A pillar, it draws power from an unused fuse port and is grounded in the cab. It's hard to see where it's plugged into on the transmission. I think that's what you're asking anyway.

    The wire from the gauge looks like it runs near the top of the transmission housing on the drivers side. Good to know I can double check it on the computer diagnostics.

    I always finish my paint can projects with some clear coat. The rustoleum clear gloss claims to have some UV protection. My yard gate was painted about 5 years ago and the brutal AZ sun hasn't destroyed it yet. Was your truck originally white? Did you use primer?

    I have a trans temperature gauge installed and I'm just wondering how hot should I start to worry and what is fairly normal operating temperatures? The gauge doesn't really have a red line or anything. I normally don't see it above 160 driving around town but going up a mountain it climbed up...

    How much paint do i need to repaint my truck.

    It probably varies widely with how experienced you are and what equipment you're using to paint. I usually gauge what I need with how much primer I use, it's cheap to buy and easy to get.

    I vote Truck #2 More room inside and it looks decent. Might get a good deal on their need to sell. Truck 3 looks like a long bed.
