    I have only ever heard of the "scan tool" that you plug in and it just gives you blink codes. I guess I am just a dummy. Haha But some kind of data and live info would be nice. Any preference on brand or model?

    I want to replace the whole wiring harness. But we have to get it running first. Lol It ran with a blown head gasket and now it does not. But we think it's the valve adjustment. He did not do it correctly. Some of the valves are not closing and opening all the way.

    Update: I put a timing light on the truck and found that when you give it gas it is perfectly in time. Or at least it lines up with the mark.
