AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Do you know of any good write ups or videos, since it’s not my daily, I am going to try and do it myself.

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Just answered a question I had about how to confirm the evaporator is leaking. Thanks!

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

I’ve done everything right so far and I don’t want to take any shortcuts, I’ll stay away from the stop leak.. do you guys know if there’s anyway to remove stuff from under the dash to at least get me a view of the evaporator? Since I ran some UV dye, I’m hoping to at least confirm that its...

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Alight guys. I went to the auto parts store and got some more r134a. I also added some UV to help find the leak. I added the Freon and I was still on the low side on the gauge readings. I continued and added a second can. The highest reading I was able to get was 45/305 with ambient temp at 100*...

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

I’ll buy another 12oz can of Freon. Attach the gauges and try and meet those charts. If it continues to act up after that. I’ll throw in the towel and let an expert handle it. Only thing I didn’t replace was the evaporator. I really hope that isn’t leaking.

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Well. Now the compressor is cycling on and off right from the start. No matter what fan speed it is in. So either I didn’t add enough refrigerant or I have a leak. Which I don’t see how. Held vacuum for over 2 hours with no movement of the gauge. And I took my time changing everything out being...

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

I have gauges. That is used while vacuuming down the system and while adding the r134a. I just don’t have any number to compare.

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Forgot to mention, the old AC delco compressor was also doing this at low fan speeds. One day the compressor just stopped working. So I figured I would replace everything at once. (Except evaporator) I also noticed the new compressor will cycle if I rev the engine up to 1500-2500 rpm’s at idle...

AC clutch cycling on low fan setting.

Hi guys, I just finished redoing my AC. In my 99 2 door Tahoe with no rear AC. I went with a Delphi compressor, ACdelco dryer, hoses and a rockauto condenser and a 4 seasons orifice tube. Everything went smooth..added 32 oz of Freon and it’s blowing really good. Only issue I am having is the...

    Gear indicator leds are out.

I recently spoke to the previous owner.. who said all the LEDs worked till he recently had the transmission shifter shaft seal replaced. So I’m convinced that the neutral safety switch might have been damaged as it was removed to replace the seal. I’ve ordered a switch from Amazon. Hopefully...

    Gear indicator leds are out.

Thanks for the reply. It helps to know the LEDs rarely go out. I’ll check out the range switch and connections this weekend.

    Gear indicator leds are out.

Hi guys, I’m new here and hoping you guys can point me towards the right direction. I recently bought a 99 tahoe and noticed that the gear indicator bulbs only turn on while in PRN. Completely off during D321. I originally thought the bulbs could be out but then I started thinking there might be...
