    This is kinda a dumb question but are there the wires required to remap the functions on the knob. Like the first position is everything OFF, the second position turns the DRLS on, and then in the most upright position turns on the headlight as it does normally.

    Oh so it probably got locked up and then popped off when it was forced I do drive at some point? I’ll try and see if I can drop the column today hopefully that’s my OBD port problem. Do you know how to find the wiring diagrams or some way I can figure out what that wire does?

    Anyone know what this linkage is to? It’s disconnected and it goes to the shifter column.

    I assume you guys are referring to the butt crimps? I got crimps the only problem I wouldn’t be able to get it in. There is no room at all. Can you take the steering column out?

    Been busy lately finally had a chance to try and connect to my 2014 Sierra. Worked perfectly so I guess that rules out the not compatable with GM. Found a wire that’s cut under the dash. How would I even get to that to fix it?

    Interesting I tried it on a honda and it worked fine. I got a GMC I'll try it out on.

    Alrighty tried cycling and different apps even. Probably going to get Autozone or napa to see if they can get a real scanner to connect. I guess that will rule out the port.

    It's some cheap generic bt one from eBay. Works on my other vehicle just fine connect within a few seconds and shows all the info.

    I recently got a Bluetooth scanner and I can't get it to connect to my 98 Tahoe's ECM. There's power to the scanner but it won't connect. Tested it on another car and it worked just fine. Below are the voltages I measured on the pins. Checked all fuses. Don't know what else to do. 2-0v 4-Gnd...
