1990 k1500 4.3 delayed throttle response

lol true that is what it should do. I just feel not like it’s doing this is however the 1st 4.3 I’ve owned in any of my trucks so this could be a quirk im not used to. its not slipping clutch it does it in neutral also

No it’s nice and free. Unhooked the cables and tbi linkage is free and quick.

1990 k1500 4.3 delayed throttle response

I just got a 90 k1500 with 4.3 5 speed. it runs good but seems to have a delayed throttle response, by that I mean you hit the gas it revs up but just seems to keep going higher and a couple seconds longer than it seems it should. It’s not a bog , I’m not sure what’s goin on. Any help will be...

1997 GMC Sierra GT stepside 2wd

I thought the gt only went til 94? The rpo code is byp from all my dealings with them as far as the 1990-94
