Vortec 350 doesn't start. Spark advance shows 0deg.
1999 Tahoe 350 vortec. Has been sitting a week or two. Doesn't start. Gas smell is coming from exhaust, so it's an ignition problem. L31 Spark retard at hi rpm & load
Hi, I was tuning my '99 Tahoe and noticed there's some knock retard at high load and high rpm. I started with a tune with much advanced timing, and ended up retarding the timing at high rpm even compared to stock tune. It helped some, but it's still there. New R&P clunk at every pinion round
Hi, I installed new ring and pinion. After finishing everything and putting oil in, I rotated the pinion. I noticed, there's a strange, kind of slight clunking sound at every rotation at the same spot. I guess there's some kind of defect in a pinion tooth.
