Rebuilt or remanufactured transmission
I got mine from Advance Auto Parts, not sure if they carry yours but worth a check. I paid about $1,400 for mine, which was much cheaper then other options I researched- 97 Centurion

Thanks that is awesome to hear how limited the Centurions are, you have helped me a lot and will follow the route you took to find out more about mine. Mine also has the centurion badges, and sticker on rear with serial number. Also in the glove box iirc, my seats also have the centurion logo...- 97 Centurion

need some year related info
My understanding is the 1997 4l60e is year specific. Atleast that is what I was told when ordering a replacement transmission last year.- 97 Centurion
