Pulled the fenders Did a seat for a rich old guy with a lot of hotrods. Next to the truck. Botched a couple shift knobs, going to try a different resin next time. Did some more sanding on my speakerbox.

NV3500 problems

Honestly the best thing to do is pull the trans back out, check your clutch, flywheel, TO bearing. It sucks, but it's not like the truck drives, so downtime depends on how fast you find the problem. Sorry to hear about your luck.

Going to have to pull the fenders and run spacers. Rear lower control arm clearance. No pics of the coilover clearance, but it touches when I jump in the trunk. The front wheels wont even spin freely because they are hitting the springs.

Polyester resin. A lot of manufacturers of clear shift knobs use acrylic resin, but I like polyester because it is more dense. I'm actually probably going to start 2 more tonight with dice instead of bugs. You can find molds online or make your own out of silicone. A s13 coupe would be cool...

Firewall hammered. Hopefully it's hammered enough. Engine and transmission need to go in together, so I don't want to have to pull it back out because it isn't hmmered enough.

It took about an hour and a half to get the tank full, temp to 75*F, tape boarder measured to 30"x22" in the tank and film cut out to 28"x20". Film is only 19" wide, but the tape overhangs a half inch on both sides. I probably could have used less than 28" of film, but you have to go in at a bit...

You forgot to mention that it's the messiest stuff ever lol. Well I laid it down and it laid down smooth, but my center line got all messed up when I put the the airbag cover in, and I forgot to trim the excess near my seams and it bugged the crap out of me. So I pulled it back up. I tried...

I finally finished sewing the dash. Next I need to pull it, glue it down and fit the vents. I'm debating on cutting a hole out of the airbag cover and wrapping it separately or putting it back on and deleting it all together. Already took out the airbag so its a purely aesthetic choice...

SELL IT!!! Looks like a 420A. I bought 2 of them for $600, ended up with one running and it was the slowest vehicle I've ever driven. There are 3 requirements to owning a DSM. Must be turbo Must be AWD Must love to work on cars because you're going to be working on it as much as you're going to...

that's my roommate's. It was 78mm turbo 5.0 for almost a year before a natural gas leak blew it and part of the house up. he's going to put a turbo 351 in it when he's done with school.
