    Lowered Trucks on 6-Lug Wheels?

I have a 1996 c2500 6 lug lowered 4/6 on ridetech coilovers. Yea the 6 lug wheel options are limited, most styles are 4x4 offroad wheels. I’ve been running a set of kmc 20x8.5 +15mm offset for about ten years. I don’t think kmc still makes this wheel or anything similar. Everywhere I look...

    Re upholstered 60/40

That’s a good idea. I wasn’t thinking about recovering my seat untill I saw these up for sale. I’ll stop by my local upholstery shop n see what they say before I make the 6 hr drive to check out the re upholstered seats. On a side note, anybody swap from manual to electric seats ?

    Re upholstered 60/40

Happy memorial weekend. I have a question n this seems like just the place to help. My driver seat is worn on the side like most. I came across a 60/40 that’s already been re upholstered. The guy who owns the business says it’ll cost more to fix my seat than the $450 he’s asking for the re...

    Ridetech coilover wheel offset

Yes I ditched the djm control arms. In my opinion they caused steering problems and the ride quality is terrible. I’m running the ridetech coilover setup linked in my first post https://www.ridetech.com/product-category/applications/trucks/1988_1998_gm_c1500_suspension/

What is the wheel and tire setup for this truck? I have the same ridetech kit but with coilovers. Trying to find the correct wheel to order

    Ridetech coilover wheel offset

My truck is a 1996 c2500 6 lug 350/nv3500 9.5 sf 14bolt with truetrac posi. I recently went from djm control arms, drop springs, qa1 shocks and Belltech flip kit with helper bags to the Ridetech coilover suspension. https://www.ridetech.com/product/coilover-suspension-system-1988-1998-c1500/...

    Coil-overs: QA1 vs ALDAN

I’m getting ready to order the ridetech coilover kit. Did you get single or triple adjustable coilovers? I like more adjustability but wasn’t sure if it was worth the extra $$

    Memory steering

https://supersteerparts.com/products/supersteer-ss170-idler-arm-support-for-93-98-gm-1500-2500-trucks-and-suvs.html Might give this a try. Also considering giving up on the factory setup and going to rack n pinion. I’d rather put the money towards ls swap but I hate the way it steers down the...

    Memory steering

I’ve been through a ton of threads on loose steering. Most of their solutions didn’t fix my problem. https://www.gmt400.com/threads/98-k1500-steering-shaft-wobble.28352/page-3 I can wiggle my steering shaft up n down where it goes through the fire wall. Not sure if this is causing steering...

    Memory steering

Had a recommended alignment shop check the new rag joint, steering box, and the rest of the steering for any play. They couldn’t find anything wrong or worth replacing. The truck doesn’t return to center. I have to steer the other direction to get the wheels to come back to center but it’s like...

    ****** v-band clamp install

I gave the shop a chance to fix their work. Take a look at the new exhaust hangers they made. I haven’t unbolted the v bands to see if they fixed the clamp n flushed the pipe. If you’re going to have the pipe stick out of the flange at least make it a clean cut. I won’t be going back

I had a brand new lares 205 rag joint installed when the redhead steering box was installed. I appreciate the help. I’m not against the idea a new part could be failing prematurely. I will double check the new rag joint for play https://www.carid.com/lares/steering-coupling-assembly-mpn-205.html

    Memory steering

Got the new PSC pump installed no problems. Flushed n filled with swepco 715. Completed GMs recommended bleeding procedure. The steering feels better. plenty of steering power at low speeds, steering is smooth and doesn’t seem to dive into the turns anymore. Return to center is NOT better...
