Happy memorial weekend. I have a question n this seems like just the place to help. My driver seat is worn on the side like most. I came across a 60/40 that’s already been re upholstered. The guy who owns the business says it’ll cost more to fix my seat than the $450 he’s asking for the re upholstered seats. This pricing seem fair? I think it’s a good deal. Thanks

That’s a good idea. I wasn’t thinking about recovering my seat untill I saw these up for sale. I’ll stop by my local upholstery shop n see what they say before I make the 6 hr drive to check out the re upholstered seats.

On a side note, anybody swap from manual to electric seats ?

Where did you get the bottom foam? The only bottoms I have found are for the leather seats.
That's probably because the fabric upholstery is probably glued to the foam. Ordered some foam from "the Seat Shop" in Texas. check them out on line or ebay. I had my 2 door Tahoe redone with Katskin Leather including the back seat and cost about $2500 including labor.
