It’s just a regular u joint so right now I’m only 1 degree off with the short shaft being 8 degrees and the pinion at 9
I’ve read through the options for 2 piece shafts in that link I posted. I think option 3 might work with making the two operating angles for the two rearmost u joints match...
It’s off the 3500 I got the 4l80 and transfer case from I had it shortened to fit
if anyone has any advice on what angles I should shoot for with the two piece I’m all ears
Just reading this is confusing not sure what is the best way I guess I’ll figure it out eventually

I’ve got
4 degrees on the case yoke
8 degrees on the first shaft
11 on the second shaft
9 on the diff yoke
I think I’ll raise the csb to get the first shaft at 7 then a 3 degree shim to get the diff at 10 that should get me less angle on the u joints
I could be wrong on the relation of the t...
Got them in
swapped the pinion to a 1350 u joint one and with 4 degree shims I have 9 degrees on the pinion
Might have to go with 3 degree shims I haven’t quite decided yet
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for
That does look really good!
I haven’t finished installing mine yet I decided to clearcoat them because the welds looked so good
About to order the u bolt flip the shims and axle relocation plates as soon as I figure out what degree shim I need.

I got the wfo brackets mostly because they come with the shackles.
Yes you have to knock the bracket off first then cut again. The rivets are surprisingly soft, regardless very good info thank you
Forgive my ignorance but what’s is SADs? Solid axle somethings? I looked it up but didn’t find anything
But you are saying that the pro Comp leafs aren’t too bad.
I had considered them I just wasn’t sure if they would last or how they rode the jeep guys dont seem to be a fan
Did you notice a...
Ya with the two piece shaft I need the pinion not to be angled up as it would with a one piece shaft
The blocks are 5” 6 degree small end to the front they worked fine with the 4l60 and np241 with the slip yoke
but I swapped in a 4l80 with the borg 1 ton transfer case which has a fixed yoke...
Anyone have any pictures with a 3” body lift?
94 k1500 Ecsb I currently have 5” tapered blocks
Reason for change. 4l80e and 1ton borg tcase had the two piece shaft from the donor truck shortened. Need the axle pinion to go back down 6 degrees for proper angles
Looking at doing
WFO concepts...
