Got a 1998 k1500 with the 305 vortec in it. I DO NOT plan on swapping it anytime soon nor do I really need or want to. motors got 50k miles on it. Im looking to find a cam that would give a little boost in power(with tuning if need be), sound good, but not have me replace every top end component...- Justin e

Trucks lacking power
Most of the “tune up” have been done excluding fuel filter, been trying to avoid opening Pandora’s box with the rusty fuel lines. The intake upper and lower was resealed 6 months ago along with a mpfi conversion. Not sure if this might have something to do with it but the cat has begun to fall...- Justin e

Trucks lacking power
Have a 1998 k1500 with the 5.0 vortec, did a 230 mile drive last week with it and ever since the last 20 miles of the drive the truck has just felt sluggish and has needed to be given more throttle then usually to really get decent acceleration. New Brake Caliper Dragging On rotor
Turns out they were the correct ones like I said, But there's something faulty about the slides on them causing them to move around in directions they aren't supposed to. gonna just go ahead and replace them. Anyone got a decent brand of caliper cause these really don't seem to have worked out...- Justin e

Ticking at Idle
Have a 1998 gmc k1500 With just over 44,000 On the clock. Motor wasn't maintained in its early years so there was some issues with sludge build up but the engine has been flushed out a couple times and that issue has been remedied. New Brake Caliper Dragging On rotor
That's What I thought but apparently not, Its the correct size caliper for a Jb5 RPO Code, The new rotor is actually around .05 MM smaller then the original specs for rotor size but is the correct one. Honestly lost at this point and considering grinding down the two points that are scraping...- Justin e

After doing them I started to experience scraping, which turned out to be The new calipers scraping on the hat of the rotors on both sides.
