What did you use to upgrade to JB6? I want to upgrade my 89 c1500 with the J50 code. I have a Ford 9" in the back and it has 11" brakes

Radiator Swap to 34" Core

I just swapped the 34" core in my 89 c1500. A bit different I know. What I learnt was the top rad hose you need the one for the 34" rad. The bottom hose from either the 5.7L or 7.4L did not work as I used the electric fans/shroud from a 2006 silverado. The bottom rad rubbers I shifted outward to...

I am currently doing the same to my 89 with a 5.7L. Mine had the 28" rad before. I got a new upper rad hose for the 34" and modified the lower rubbers to fit the wider core 34". The problem I ran into was with the lower rad hose. Since my rad sits so low in the support, I can't fit a factory...
