Thanks for the replies. I did change the fuel pump and it started right up. Sounds great has great throttle response. I'm pretty sure it was dying a slow death. I'm hoping better mileage too. Thanks again!- IdahoJeeplover

Is this normal?
New member here. Looks like a lot of knowledgeable people here. Glad I found this forum. On to the issue. I have a 97 Chevy 4x4 5.7V that was really having power failure when pushing on the gas.
