88-94 HVAC control swap possible?

1995 4l60 in a 1996 truck

Does anyone know how to make a 1995 trans work in a 1996? I had mine rebuilt for my truck. Turns out it’s a 1995 case and valve body/ separator plate. I’m having issues with no reverse or low gear, and low line pressure issues in every gear. Then sometimes with a little gas I can get reverse...
