That truck is considered rust free, I live about 6hrs north of Eugene, we are pretty lucky in the winters, we really don’t get a lot of salt on our roads, for the most part our winters can be pretty mild.
As far as spindles go, go with DJM suspension they do not push the wheels out, you will have to trim the lower control arm rain gutters if you’re running 15” wheel's, Belltech spindles push the wheels out .45” per side.
Do you remember what spindles you had trouble with? DJM spindles keep the wheels in the factory location, “but you do loose turning radius”, unlike other companies, they push the wheel out .5” inch.
Thanks, yeah they do, I’m going for a 3”/4” drop, cuz I still want a little bit of a rake look to it, I think it will look good cuz of the factory body kit. I’ll post pics when I do.
This is my Limited, I’ve lowered it 2” but but wanting to get a little lower, so I’m doing a 3” front, and 4” rear drop using Belltech products, hopefully this summer.
Really nice truck, love the stance. If and when you have time can you please take some pictures of your set up front and rear, also where did you buy the rear leaf springs, where they off a 4x4? I’m assuming Oreilly’s? How’s the handling characteristics with the strong arms, would you recommend...
