    gm sells a ht383 as a replacement engine but its pricey its about 5 grand but it comes with new water pump distributer oil pan plug wires and chain cover

    lt4 hot cam, new spider , tune will get you 370-380 hp add 1.6 rr and 380-390 hp and your fuel system will keep up . its a provin set up . so is the zz4 cam and tune gets about 340-350 hp

    ok i have a 4x4 96 ecsb looking to lower it a lil bit i was thinking beltech keys 3inch. and there front shocks , 2 inch shakle and 2degree shim and removeing the overload . keeping my air shocks and useing shock extenders for the rear . well this be ok or is there a problem with this ? thanks

    circle d converters

    any one running circle d 298mm converter ? they say they will max stall at 2400-2600 rpm just wondering what yours is stalling at with L31 vortec ? or if you are running a diff stall you like let me know which one ?

    price on new paint job

    ok cause the shops here in cali are using water base stuff guess cause the envorment stuff. they sais the only solvent stuff they can get is low grade stuff and will only last 5 years ? but they didn't give me the name of the paint . other then the ppg aqua base .

    What stall? Need help

    there converters are tight so it will only stall high at wot . then it will lock when cruiseing so no mpg loss on the high way . little loss in town tho . they build them for your application . so if you want like a 2200-2400 they can do that too . stock i think is 1600-1800

    thanks for all the good info . looks like i might just save up till i can get it done right . cause i am looking for a good job equal to the oem quality paint job no runs or fish eyes . or orange peel . cause i cant stand shiney paint with all those defects .

    well i want a cowl hood and was tossing the idea around of painting it to fix all the imperfections and the dent in the bed if it was gunna be reasonable price but seems like its gunna be a lot . the paint still shines nice tho . guess i might just have to do just the hood for now .
