Badazzbulldog is right, I remember now when I needed a 96 trans I went through something similar, but I just had mine rebuilt. 95 is like an OBD 1.5 kind of deal so its a 1 year only thing, 96 and 97 have the removable bellhousing cover, 98-99(obs) have the little hole you reach the TC bolts with.

Tranny is back in . So far I'm loving the vette servo and shift kit. Kinda wished I bought an 1800 or so stall torque converter though.
