Wire Color Question

1996 K1500 5.7
So looking online there are multiple sites that all show the Second Ignition wire being White in the ignition harness. Mine is original and there is no white wire. Just trying to confirm before installing a remote start. Right now the only wire that makes sense as the second ignition is the Pinkish Red w/white stripe.
Picture below is typical of most sites showing White as Second Ignition. It also shows a pink/white as Third Ignition. Very confusing! Other picture is my harness.

Well we did speak and it seemed a little weird to him as well. We both seemed to conclude the ReddishPink/White stripe for second ignition. Just being a nervous nellie before tapping in I thought I’d throw it out there to see if anyone else has come across this.

Maybe I’m good, just found this and seems to confirm Pink/White as 2nd ignition. Although, in photo and actually looking at wire it looks more like a Red/White stripe.

That pink/white is going to be your second ignition. You will know the first time you remote start it. If its not correct its gonna throw a check engine light, and you know NOT to drive it till you clear the code and cycle the remote start off and restart it with the key.....

I know I’m overthinking, but last thing I want to do is create an issue. The picture I posted above is for a 1995. Everything for 1996 says 2nd ignition is White, even the sheet you sent me says White wire. But I get it, with boxes of leftover and same harness I guess they made their way into the next run.

Just make sure you remote start it and let it run and idle for some time (3-4 minutes maybe) and check for that check engine light. If alls clear you should be golden! Double check by carefully driving and counting shifts.
