I have a 93 and the wiper arms are the pin style. Are the newer trucks the hook type and are they swappable? Thanks

they should be. Wiper blades can attach to either one.

The newer style has a stronger spring. Keeps the blade on the glass better, especially @ speed, and no more pins.

Gets tricky, most won't believe me but if you go too new the passenger side arm won't line up correctly. You'll think you can adjust it out but there's not enough adjustment in the linkage to get it done. Ran into this grabbing arms out of my yard (all 88-98 parts trucks) to replace a damaged one on a '99 one ton (still GMT400) and drove myself nuts trying to figure out why it wouldn't work.
