So I'm going to have to order a winch in the next few months. What brands do y'all recommend? Should I just spend the money and go Warn, or is Superwinch good? Here's the 3 I'm looking at. I'm leaning towards the Superwinch but its only a 10,000lb so what y'all think?

I'd like to get the warn. But after adding it, snatch block, tow straps, a hi lift and a few other things I'm up to $1000. So what do y'all think about the tuff stuff winch?

I bet it's one of those "you get what you pay for" deals.

The LP series is Superwinch's cheapest model line.

They call it their "value based winches".

Take from that what you will.

Given my druthers, I'd be looking for a hydraulic powered winch....engine has to be running to use it though.

You may want to consider a hydro that can be run off your P/s pump and /or a 12v hydro pump milemarker makes the one I have and I like it. they make the ones on the Hummvee's
it's worth a look just my 2-cent

Hmm a hydraulic winch really sounds expensive! But I guess I shouldn't cheap out on a winch.
