I have a 1996 Tahoe 4WD that I am lowering and building like a sport truck. I was wanting to upgrade the brakes and lower it more. I wanted to see if I could bolt on a 2" drop spindle from a 2000 model truck, then put on the 14" brakes from a 2010 model and use the 96 model wheel bearings or if they would have to be the newer ones too. I read the thread where they swapped the GMT800 brakes on a GMT400 but he was using a stock spindle not a drop spindle. He also used 2006 13" brakes and I am wanting to use the 2010 14" brakes. I was told the wheel bearings are interchangeable and since I replaced mine not that long ago I really hope that's truck. Thank you
