Why do I have this?

^^All clusters have the same lights on them. Although wiring for the shift light will only be there on manual trans trucks I think. Also, fun fact, the shift light does not work on any truck over 8600 GVW (8 lug).

I think it would be in either spot Y, or one of the open ones a-m on cluster plug.

You could probably add it. When I swapped to the 92-94 style on my 1990, the only wire that didn't have a place to go was the shift light wire (plug was off an auto). Couldn't find a wiring diagram for 92-94 that included it either. Oh well, never did anything anyway so no biggie.

Heres a 93 plug, auto. Dont have the manual plug drawings. im sure only difference is the uoshift light added.

So why does it have a up shift light on it? Someone on here ran my vin and it was a recall truck that had an auto. What website do I run vin on? I think I have a factory freak

Because it's the same cluster. You may have missed where I said the gear indicator portion is simply a couple of screws and it swaps out. You don't have a factory freak; you have a truck someone else owned before you did.
