First off my truck is 1991 5.7 tbi with nv3500 manual 5 speed trans. But I have the PRNDOD21 down in the bottom left corner with moon cluster. Has factory clutch pedal, and slave. Is this normal for these trucks? My first chevy. Will upload pic tomorrow. Today was maiden voyage after lowering and brakes(50 miles one way). I James Bond smoke screened i20 and found out I’m leaking bad! But curious why I have the auto letters under oil pressure guage

Cluster may not be original. Manual clusters are hard to find if one goes out. Honestly when i was thinkin of 4bt / nv5600 swapping my truck i was trying to find a manual cluster so the prndl wasnt there.

Probably swapped the cluster. FWIW if you manage to find ANY cluster 88-94 from a manual you can swap the black cover over from the manual one. It does not matter if it's moonie or needles. Not sure about 95+ though.

Exactly. Easy as turning a couple screws. Or, simply pull the gear indicator needle assembly (super easy) and put black tape across the lettering. For 1995-up no dice, the gear lettering for automatics are printed directly on the gauge face and have holes where LED's shine through for which gear you're in.

In late 91 model year they switched from moonie to needle gauges.
Yes, but still with the "old" style connector and electronics, which is what makes a 1991 needle cluster such an uncommon piece. It's a less-than-one-year-only item. I know you probably already are aware but stating it for others so they don't get confused about what years have what.

So why does it have a up shift light on it? Someone on here ran my vin and it was a recall truck that had an auto. What website do I run vin on? I think I have a factory freak
