The pic above in TBI shows why it had a E before 95,My 1993 G20 had a 4L60E. PWM Solenoid was added in 1995, per your service manual pic.
What? Are you talking about my pic? The reluctor gear is for the VSS (speedometer), the green plastic gear in front of it is the Governor. It's a 700R4, not a 4L60E.The pic above in TBI shows why it had a E before 95,
You are incorrect. I had a 94 and it had no tv cable or speedometer cable. Just because the manuals you posted have the 700r4/4l60 to 93 doesn't mean that our trucks had them. They have the cable in 94, TV cable, 95 models is when it was eliminated
If it was a 94, and didn't have a TV cable, it was a 400/3L80, it had a vacuum line that draws from intake, as far as speedometer, that was dependent on the application if it had a cable or used the speed sensor rotor, the electric signal/VSS output, and as far as the books, they cover them to 2002 to include the 4L65 even. I just know that if they have the throttle valve cable, by the dipstick, it's not a electronic controlled unit , if they have the big electric plug behind the dipstick, it's computer controlled,You are incorrect.
