Im building up my 89 with a 350. Putting aluminum racing heads on it with 210 cc intake ports, 2.02/1.60 valves, 59 cc chambers, either high rise air gap style intake or Victor JR singke plane high rise intake, 650 to 750 cfm 4150 true double pumper Holley, over .500 lift cam(debating roller or solid flat tappet cam), will be running at least 2.5 exhaust pipes but leaning towards dual 3" with high flow mufflers, no cats. It will have 3.73 gears, locker, and will have a T56 in the near future. Has a rebuilt 700R4 now. This will obviously not be a truck a grandma would be comfortable driving in town, lol. Its goig to be my fun truck thats relatively quick and sound good.
Exhaust ports are sqaure. What headers will fit in a 2wd chassis that has 1.75 primaries? Anybody have experience using them? Any truck racing series headers work? I dont mind painted headers, it wont be a daily driver or driven in the rain much. I can VHT them either way. Any links to the headers would be appreciated.
I did search on here but not much luck, there were a coupke good duggestions but no actual personal users reviews. Damn headers are expensive as hell now, used to be cheap when I was first driving in the 80's.
