I work for a courier service and I am the only mechanic they have. I take care of some 50 or so cars between the Boulder (CO) shop and the main shop in Greeley (CO).
I tow just about once a week more or less.
The trailer belongs to the company but the truck is mine. They take care of my truck as if it was a company truck.
Free gas, maintenance, tires, and anything that may break (i.e. engine, trans, etc.).
I love my job.
The truck tows perfect, but then again, I have had nothing to gauge it by. My two other trucks were 60's chevys made into hot rods. No towing with those.
My '96 is the newest I've ever owned.
