Is it just because the engine is so small?
I mean, in my mind a good body and fresh paint alone is worth 2K, let alone an older OOBS or OBS.

Not trying to knock it, but honestly, it's a BASE model old pickup with a 250 straight 6. It may be a great old truck, but I don't know if a do-it-yourself garage paintand body job make it a 2k truck. Judging by the pictures good paint/body may be questionable... Hell he didn't even take off the license plate, he just painted around it. lol It may be worth that up there, trucks around here are probably just more common due to the fact they really don't rust much here.
