What all do I need to connect subs to my head unit?

I just replaced my factory radio with a new Sony Xplod head unit and discovered that I have no bass at all. BTW, I know nothing about audio/electronic stuff besides really simple things so I got best buy to install the unit for me. Now I've got a 10' sub in a box ready to be installed and I don't know how to go about it. I know I need an amp of some sort/size but what else will I need to finish it up?

-RCA cables from HU to Amp
-Remote wire from HU to Amp
-Amp Power
-Amp Power
-Wire from Sub to Amp.

Pretty simple.

Yepp not alot to it, like stated before RCA cables, romote wire, ground, power wire, and wire subs to the amp. As for the amp goes it depends on sub wattage.
